Favourite Dog Walking Spot - Holkham Beach

The other day (well a couple of weeks ago now), we introduced Ziggy and Honey to one of our favourite places in Norfolk - Holkham Beach.

A walk at Holkham beach can take you through meandering woodland walks, over sand dunes capped with tussled grass, to an immense expanse of sand. At low tide, if you squint, and gaze way into the horizon you just about make out the white tipped waves in the distance.

Something twigged with Ziggy and Honey that day, and they seemed to suddenly “get” the whole idea of going for a walk. We’ve had no problems taking them out for walks ever since....

shot of the day...

they stayed close to us on the entire walk (I'm sure that'll change as they get more confident)...

"I'm a laaady!"

"leave my ball alone!"

"what's next?"

"look what I've got..."

"sharp turn to the right, he'll never be able to move that quick!"

"I don't know it yet - but one day I'll be able to jump over that water."

"I did it, I got there first, and I've got the ball... yes... I'm going to parade around and show everyone my bright green ball!"

rounded off with a glorious sunset and some cheese on toast in Flo... Pups asleep in the count of 2...

What's your favourite dog walking spot?
